Hi! I am John Riggle, Owner/Inspector at J.Rig Inspections, LLC. My family and I have enjoyed life in the Wake Forest area for more than 15 years, and will be here to watch the growth for many years to come. I am a Mechanical Engineer and previous home builder, and my passion for the perfect home and the safety of my family has led me to home inspections. Everyone needs to know the true condition and safety of their home, but not everyone has the knowledge to make that determination. 48 Hour Radon Testing
Radon is a radioactive, colorless, odorless gas that happens to be the second leading cause of lung cancer, just after cigarette smoking. Radon is naturally released from rocks, soil, and water, and can get trapped inside your home. You should always aim to have the lowest level of radon in your home. 48 hour radon monitoring will give you peace of mind or direct you if mitigation means are necessary.
Pre-Drywall Inspection
Is your new home properly insulated? Are the plumbing pipes and electrical wires protected from the nails you will use to hang those cherished family photos? Are there any damaged or missing structural components? These are all questions that cannot be answered when inspecting a finished home. Consider a pre-drywall inspection if you purchase your home early in the construction process.

11 Month Warranty Inspection
Exit your builder warranty with confidence. Most builders offer some level of warranty for one year after the closing date of your new home. Plumbing
Small leaks are sometimes very hard to notice. Leaks lead to structural rot, mold, and high water bills $$$.
